Sberbank’s IFRS net profit rises to 845 bln rbl in 2019
MOSCOW, Feb 27 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s top bank Sberbank grew by 1.6% on the year to 845 billion rubles in 2019, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a report on Thursday.
The result takes into account the sale of Turkey’s DenizBank.
The net interest income increased by 1.4% to 1.416 trillion rubles, while net fee and commission income grew by 13.6% to 497.9 billion rubles.
The retail loan portfolio went up by 16.8% in 2019 to 7.884 trillion rubles as of December 31, 2019, while the corporate loan portfolio grew by 3.2% to 13.9 trillion rubles.
Deposits of individuals with the bank increased 5.3% to 14.21 trillion rubles, while corporate deposits with the bank shrank by 0.5% to 7.36 trillion rubles.
